ARRIS — Router admin login

Use this ARRIS guide to identify the right management interface and account before changing network settings. Match the complete model, hardware revision and any provider variant; the brand name alone does not establish a universal login address or password.

Choose the exact model

Examples recorded in this directory: BGW210-700, DG3450, DG3450A, DG860P2. Compare the full model label, not just the first part of the name. The searchable table contains the available device records.

Find the correct management page

Use the adapter that currently carries your connection. Several Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN or virtual adapters can appear at once, and an old or disconnected adapter may show an irrelevant gateway. If the gateway field is empty, reconnect to the intended network and check again before assigning a static address.

Recorded address examples: 192.168.1.254, 192.168.0.1, 192.168.7.254, 192.168.100.1. These describe the directory, not a live scan of your network. Your configured address can differ after setup or a mode change.

If your product uses a companion app or a managed controller, follow that documented method. A default gateway address alone does not guarantee that a complete web administrator interface is available.

Compare the problem on another device connected to the same router, or use Ethernet. If a VPN changes local routing, check its local-network access setting or your organisation’s policy. Do not turn off DNS protection or the firewall just because a numeric IP page does not load.

Default router passwords

The administrator password controls router settings; the Wi-Fi password joins the wireless network. They may differ. Use the exact model, hardware revision and provider instructions when checking defaults. An empty field or dash in the directory is an unverified database value, not a promise that a blank password will work.

A factory default describes an initial configuration, not the password currently set on a device. Match the full model and hardware revision, then check the label and manufacturer or provider documentation. The directory is a reference aid; it does not test a password against your router or retrieve a changed password.

Before changing settings

Change one setting at a time and keep the previous value. Back up the configuration if supported; the backup can contain private network information. After saving, verify the connection from a device you control. If access is lost, return to the last known working configuration before making more changes.

Forgot your admin password?

Check the device label, saved passwords and provider documentation first. A factory reset is a last resort because it may erase Internet credentials, Wi-Fi settings and custom rules. Prepare the recovery details before following the manufacturer’s model-specific instructions. A normal restart is a different operation.
