Zoom Router Login and Setup Guide
Zoom records include numeric product identifiers and several address ranges. Use the complete product number, including any series designation, to locate the relevant entry. Check whether the target is the Internet gateway or secondary equipment before changing DHCP or connection settings.
Choose the matching Zoom model
The table above lists the recorded models. Search the model number from the equipment label and compare any hardware revision, suffix or provider variant. Example entries include 3G Wireless-N Travel Router# Series 1096, 4401, 4501, 4506 3G. Similar names can represent different hardware or setup procedures.
Find the current login address
Recorded addresses in this category include 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1, 10.0.0.2, 192.168.100.1. These values describe the directory, not the configuration currently running on your network. Connect to the equipment’s LAN and check your active default gateway. For secondary equipment, locate its management address in the upstream router’s client list or your network inventory.
Sign in with the correct administrator account
Open the confirmed management URL and check the device identity before entering credentials. Use the administrator password you created, the device label or the exact model’s documented initial setup process. The Wi-Fi key is not necessarily the administrator password. Listed defaults do not override an existing account, and empty fields do not establish that a blank password works.
Make changes without losing access
Save a configuration backup where supported. Change one setting at a time and record any new LAN address before applying it. Wireless clients may disconnect after an SSID or password change. Keep provider connection details available and use firmware instructions for the exact hardware revision.
If credentials are unavailable, check the documented recovery process before considering a factory reset. A reset can erase Internet and custom network settings; restarting the device is a separate action. For provider-managed or workplace equipment, contact the configuration owner first.
